Hi, I’m Dr. Danielle!
I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, specializing in oncology rehabilitation and lymphatic care. More importantly, I’m someone who truly values connection, trust, and helping people feel comfortable and confident in their own bodies again.
A little more about me
Outside of work, I really value balance and slowing things down. You can usually find me reading, exploring new coffee shops, caring for my plants, or spending time with my fiancé and our mini dachshund, Ollie.
I enjoy staying active through strength training, pilates, and yoga. I tend to be routine-driven, and movement is something that helps me feel grounded and brings clarity to my day.
I also love to travel whenever I can and always have new places I’m hoping to explore!

My journey over the years
I have experience treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions, but over time I found myself most drawn to working with individuals navigating cancer recovery and lymphatic conditions.
It’s an area of care that requires more than just clinical knowledge. It requires patience, attention, and a truly individualized approach.
That’s what led me to create Refined Recovery.
I wanted to build something that felt different from the traditional physical therapy experience, where people feel heard, supported, and never rushed through their care.
My priority is to meet you where you are, understand your experience, and help you move forward in a way that feels clear and manageable.
Whether that means rebuilding strength, improving mobility, or learning how to better support your body—including the use of compression. Our work together is always collaborative. We create a plan that feels realistic and sustainable for your lifestyle.
It’s important to me that this is a space where you feel comfortable asking questions, understood in your experience, and confident in the direction you’re moving.
My approach to care
Meet Ollie
Every great practice needs a great assistant. Ollie is frequently spotted supervising virtual appointments, monitoring exercise form, and making sure every session includes a little joy. His specialties include tennis ball retrieval, neighborhood walks, and reminding us that recovery is about more than healing—it's about getting back to the activities that bring us happiness.
If this approach feels like the kind of care you’ve been looking for, I’d love to support you.
