Refined Recovery offers one-on-one, specialized care delivered directly into your home environment. Without the constraints of a traditional clinic, sessions are designed around your real life—so what you learn feels natural, practical, and sustainable. Physical therapy services are available across New Jersey, wellness services are available nationwide.

Physical Therapy
Refined Recovery Physical Therapy is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance directly.
Payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, a superbill can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and varies based on your individual plan.
If you plan to seek reimbursement, it is your responsibility to verify your out-of-network benefits and determine whether your insurance company requires a referral, prescription, prior authorization, or any additional documentation.
This model allows for highly individualized, one-on-one care without many of the limitations often imposed by insurance plans, such as visit caps, treatment restrictions, or reduced appointment times.
For lymphatic conditions, insurance may still be used for:
Compression garments
Bandaging supplies
Pneumatic compression pumps
Please note: Services cannot be provided if you are enrolled in Medicare Part B. A referral to a CLT in your area can be provided if needed.

Refined Performance (Restore & Elevate) is a wellness-based service and is not considered medical treatment.

For the conditions treated at Refined Recovery, telehealth is both effective and intentional.
Working within your own environment allows for more personalized guidance and strategies that integrate directly into your daily life. When appropriate, you will always be guided if additional in-person care or referrals would better support your needs.

Your first session is thorough, collaborative, and unrushed.
We’ll discuss your history, current concerns, and goals, followed by a personalized movement assessment. You’ll leave with initial guidance and a clear, supportive plan moving forward.
Wellness Services
Refined Performance (Restore & Elevate)
We assess your current functional level to establish baseline strength and movement patterns. We define your goals to create an exercise program that is focused on long-term results. Your individualized program will be delivered and updated based on the frequency of your package.

After your initial evaluation, we’ll determine a frequency that aligns with your goals, needs, and lifestyle—ensuring consistent support without overwhelm.
Wellness Services
Refined Performance Packages: (Restore & Elevate) will meet every 2 weeks. There will be weekly check-ins for accountability.

Physical Therapy
No. New Jersey is a direct access state, which means you can begin physical therapy without a physician referral or prescription.
As part of providing comprehensive care, Refined Recovery Physical Therapy may communicate with your healthcare providers regarding your plan of care when appropriate. Collaboration with your healthcare team is encouraged to support safe, coordinated, and effective treatment.
If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement from your insurance company, you are responsible for verifying whether your plan requires a referral, prescription, or other documentation for reimbursement.

Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access to the area we’re focusing on. All sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your privacy at all times. You do not need to undress on screen, examination and treatment will be guided.

Physical Therapy
No extensive equipment is required. We’ll work within your space using what you already have, creating a plan that fits naturally into your routine. It is recommended to have access to resistance bands or dumbbells to adequately challenge the body.
Wellness Services
It is strongly recommended to have to access to resistance bands, dumbbells, or gym equipment in order to participate in strength training with ongoing progression and higher-level performance.

Appointments are reserved exclusively for you.
Out of respect for both your therapist's time and other clients seeking care, a minimum notice of 24 hours is required for appointment cancellations or changes. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled visit will incur a $75 fee. This fee will be waived if the appointment is rescheduled and completed within 7 days of the original appointment date. All services and packages are non-refundable once purchased unless otherwise discussed.
